McClatchy came to me with the idea for a renovated style of newsletter campaigns. They wanted newsletters with market-specific themes, call to actions, and engaging copy.

Subscription Model
McClatchy owned 20+ newspapers across the country. They're subscription model is what brought in revenue and readers to their platform. My work focused on the subscription special that one would pay for access to the newspaper.

Themes and Keywords
Every market had keywords and SEO that was assigned to their audience. These keywords were used for my writing in the body, bullets, and headlines of the newsletter.

Audience Reception
McClatchy's reach covers the entire country. With 3 million newsletter subscribers and 3 email blasts a week totaling in 12 million emails sent every week to potential buyers.
